Course Description:
This course is concerned with the educational use of the computer in five application areas: word processing, spreadsheets, graphics and telecommunications. The course includes hands-on development of educational computer applications for use by teachers, administrators and students.

Information for the student:
The focus of this course is essentially two fold. The first being the development of basic technology competencies used to support professional and instructional tasks. The second is the development of an understanding of how technology can be applied in the classroom as an instructional strategy to support learning.
